Jimmy Romano
Biography

Jimmy Romano was born in a Showbiz family, which performed in Europe’s most elite venues. At a very young age, after emigrating from Europe, The Romano Family signed a major contract with the Las Vegas show “Lido de Paris,” at The Tropicana Hotel & Casino.  After many years of success, then touring the US and abroad, Jimmy found himself acting and performing in front of the camera.  By age 11, Jimmy had already set the stage for the rest of his life, after appearing in numerous Television shows, with the likes of ‘The Merv Griffen Show,’ ‘The Mike Douglas Show,’ ‘The Johnny Carson Show,’ ‘The Dean Martin Show,’ and over 13 National Commercials, Jimmy was quickly becoming a seasoned Entertainer.

Even with all of his successes in performing, Jimmy wanted to move towards his dream of Stunt Coordinating and Directing.  After making his debut in a Film called “Quicksilver,” starring Kevin Bacon and Lawrence Fishbourne, Jimmy made that move.  Taking advantage of a grand opportunity to use his performing skills, in a principal acting role as a bicycle messenger, along with working behind the camera, training the Lead Actors.  His skills, positive attitude and ease to work with, led Jimmy to many other projects, helping further his Film and Television career.

With 25 years experience and over 100+ Film and Television credits to his name, directing action scenes in hit Television shows for Warner Brothers and Jerry Bruckheimer Productions, winning the 2006 Emmy for “Best Stunt Coordinator” on NBC’s / Jerry Bruckheimer’s military action-drama, “E-Ring,” Jimmy Romano’s hard work has been paying off!  Jimmy Romano is currently completing various directing assignments for Commercials Film and Network Television shows.
